It’s been three years since Jordan Dykstra first started working at Marriage. A summer internship (that plant has grown 3 feet since that picture) in 07 quickly turned into a full time job and Jordan officially left LA to root in Portland. Jordan’s work during the last three years elevated and secured this label. His indefatigable effort, sincerity, and consistency set the bar and ferried our organization into its present identity. He saw through 40 records, including all of Rad, and our entire publishing wing, as well as half of our Distro. He shipped thousands and thousands of records to all corners of the world. If you own a Marriage Record, it’s more than likely that Jordan’s hands were on it as well.
We will deeply miss Jordan in his position of VP, as he moves on to greater futures. Marriage Records promises to continue meeting the standards this man has set.
