Cool 08 for Marriage, Rad, Supertapes and Veneer. We helped to make all these records/documents and do love each for its own way. 09 is shaping up to be a landmark year. We want to announce officially the upcoming release by our new friend Merrill Garbus who plays as tUnE-YaRdS. We’ll be releasing her album in March. This year we are also excited for the release of new Privacy, Rob Walmart (with a DVD), Lucky Dragons (with a DVD), Drakkar Sauna (with a book), Dash!, Dirty Projectors, YACHT, White Rainbow, Tom Blood, Veneers, Little Wings, White Fang, AOK, Spencer Kingman, A John Henry Memorial, and a bunch of new skate decks (from Kyle Field, Sumi Ink Club, White Fang, Charlie Salas….) ——— some of which will be Marriage releases, some from friend’s labels (States Rights Records, Domino, Rad, Kranky, DFA) and some both.
It is also high time we thanked the interns from last year who put a ton of work into these releases and continue to do so: Alexander Goldman, Chris Uehlein, and Samuel-Aaron Thomas. THANK YOU.
