LUCKY DRAGONS DARK FALCON

In 2002 555 helped to release a Lucky Dragons album called Dark Falcon. I got a copy from Adam Forkner around that time, as a CDR, and was told the story about reverse shoplifting it into stores. This is still one of my favorite recordings. It’s on vinyl here with etchings on the inner ring. Dream Island Laughing Language vinyl to come in soon as well, in about week or so.

also, this record, Dark Falcon, is totally and completely amazing. i remember hearing it cause e*rock recommended it to steve when he used to work at Ozone…the jam mercy became the banger party hit of the year for the whole greater crew. the rest of the record is even more mysterious and amazing and soft and hard at the same time. so many fireworks and gentle voices mixed into a dream world. can’t recommend it enough. shits been out of print for a long time. people need to hear this shit to understand how much luke’s aesthetic moved and pushed everyone around him upwards towards new things, and to be able to hear the beginning of what has been an amazing evolution of sound, music, art and life.
