Hey Curtis! Could you put something up about this on Marriage’s site today? I hope yr meeting with the band went well. I really hope they get to stay!!! Our fingers are crossed. Anyway, I’m part of a collective called Lost Gospel and we’re hosting a concert series throughout the summer. The gist is informal gigs in offbeat locations.
The first show is this Sunday – June 29th with White Fang. It’s on the basketball court of Brooklyn Park at 7pm. We’re going for a flash-mob vibe. Pampelmoose is sponsoring the generator and this White Fang gig is gonna be crazy – somewhere in between, mosh-pit style, poetry reading, acoustic show. Come one, come all! We hope the shows will escalate from here. Future shows include Glass Candy on a playground, a Starfucker pool party and Glass Teeth and Almost Nearly on a train plus more to come.

By summer’s end, we hope to have built a large Lost gospel library of media including music recording, cinema, photography and print. Each installment will be filmed and available online like take-away shows – only instead of watching the clips after the fact, everyone’s invited to be apart of it from the beginning by attending. We have a planned cassette release through Gnar Tapes. A paste-up zine can be expected too.
