Monday January 15, 2007

James Sumner directs and animates the entire Dirty Projectors’ The Getty Address in this limited run DVD-r. We got 50 total in from James, if you don’t already have one and would like one then go to distro section or clicketh beneathest:
The Getty Address DVDr in clear hard plastic case with desktop printed color tray cards.
You can see some of it in “You Tube Quality” version.
Meanwhile maybe go to Western Vinyl and get deeper into Dirty Projecotrs catalog if you don’t already know… I suggest Slaves’ Graves & Ballads to start…

Hi, I was just wondering if the Getty Address DVD has video for the whole album? When I saw this played before a dirty projectors concert about two years ago it was just the first half of the record. Let me know, thank you!

Pretty sure they’re not ‘cause I just ordered one and it said like, confirmed.
And also, I’m sad Jolly Jolly and Tour isn’t on it, those are two of my favorite songs on the album :( still, can’t wait ‘til it comes, I love the animation for the few videos I did see.
